sphiral

sphiral — a sound meditation composed from the sky at the moment you were born

what you heard

the lights you watched form were the sky as it stood the moment you arrived — each one a planet, placed where it truly was. each became a tone.

the tuning isn’t ours. every tone follows its planet’s own period, translated octave by octave into hearing — nothing in it is arbitrary.

two of those tones sit a few cycles apart, one in each ear. where they meet, the piece descends slowly — from the rhythm of a settled mind toward the rhythm of sleep.

the whole of it breathes at six breaths a minute — you may have found yourself breathing with it.

if you left an email, it is used to deliver your piece, then deleted — unless you asked us to keep in touch.

the full piece is the same sky, given forty-five minutes to descend.
